This is our second Poolvergnuegen in 6 years. We were happy with the first one, but same as humans there is time to retire when we slow down. Replacement is the newest model and Poolsupply Unlimited had the best price,same as for most other pool maintenance products we bought.

My neighbor has purchased many different pool sweeps, roughly one a year, due to mechanical problems. I have run this sweep 10 hours a day for over a year. It is still going strong and has been error free.

This cleaner gets the job done in less than two hours. Easy to set up and get running. I saw an immediate improvement after I got it out of the box. It is super reliable and the only part you need to change regularly is the tires (every 2 years or so). The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that there are still large areas that the sweeper misses, which it will eventually get to if left running long enough.

This Pool Cleaner is the best cleaner I've ever had - period! It never gets stuck and it climbs the walls like crazy. They also had the limited edition darker color so it blends better with my dark bottom pool. I couldn't be happier and the service at PSU was unbeatable.

So far, so good! I've had this for about 3 weeks and it does a great job of keeping my pool clean. It seems to never get stuck in any of the squared-off corners of my pool, like my old cleaner used to.

This model was recommended by my pool service guy after finishing the start-up. I have to say even for a small unit it does a lot of work. Our pool has every mix of curves and corners and it gets into every spot. Very happy with this compared to my older Hayward unit.

Cleans the bottom of the pool well. Doesn't get trapped at edges or corners like our last cleaner did.
But doesn't climb wall more than about a foot, so it never gets into grotto or baja step areas. Not climbing is the only complaint.

I paid extra for the limited edition dark gray so it would blend in with the gray surface of our pool. It has faded dramatically, defeating the purpose.
