We had a Hayward pump, that came with our pool that had a timer built in, when we bought it and my question is do you still make them. We cannot find one and want another one, Can you tell me and help me with this?

Can the model SP1580 or model 1580X15TL pump be rotated so the connection to the filter would be horizontal instead of vertical ?

BEST ANSWER: You can set it up to run off a timer or a inline switch or just unplug it. There is no power switch on the unit itself.

BEST ANSWER: I bought this same pump last year. As ours was frozen and would not kick on. Only hummed, so with this replacement pump it worked great! A perfect match to what we had!
