Warranty

Hill House Products provides standard and custom motors from many manufacturers both domestic and imported. Depending on specific requirements, the terms and length of warranties vary slightly but in most cases the warranty is a minimum of 12 months. The length of the warranty is based on the date code of manufacturing, listed on the label. The label must be present on the motor for a valid warranty claim.

The warranty does not apply and is void to motors that are modified, repaired, disassembled, connected improperly electrically or mechanically, suffered freight damage, improperly stored, repainted, misused, neglected, abused or improperly used in the application.

Additionally, some motors use carbon brushes to mechanical commutate, these items are by, their nature, are a "wear" item with a specific life and they are not covered under any warranty. Once they are at "end of life" they need to be replaced at the customer's expense.
