The salt cell work for approximately two days before the salt indications started going high scale and low scale and not giving a consistent reading. I tried calling Calamar and sending emails I have had only one email response asking for information. I provided that information and have not heard anything back in multiple days. No complaints with full supply unlimited just the manufacture of the salt cell itself

Good low cost alternative to buying the Goldline cell - thanks to PSU for bringing this to my attention!

So far, the CaliMar cell is working fine. I was concerned that because it was a different brand name than the previous cell that it may not work the same, but so far, so good.

I haven't been this happy since I got my pool! The "haywire hayward" unit that I have gave me nothing but trouble since day one, but this little gem worked right off the bat! I love that it's clear and you can actually "see" it working and can tell at a glance if it needs descaling. Why any pool builder would use this type of unit is beyond my comprehension, but I am SO glad I bought it! Thank you, thank you and thank you!

I got tired of worthless Hayward junk that fails after a year and getting warranty service is like pulling teeth. I will avoid anything made by Hayward in the future!
This salt cell works fine, but time will tell. If it lasts more than a year it is a better deal than Hayward. Probably the same Chinese manufacturer.

Works as intended, really helps to visually see the gas bubbles form. I would note that if you are considering downsizing from a larger unit to this one, note that it make require more frequent maintenance as the unit will need to run longer to produce the same chlorine as the large salt cells.
This unit was just a hair smaller than my previous cell so I had to added a 2.5" flat rubber gasket to seal the unions to avoid it from leaking.

The product was delivered as advertised and the packaging and product arrived in good shape. It has been installed and is working. I will be happy to improve my rating after the product has been working for more then a year
