Our resort units are designed for maintenance work where the unit will be left on site. The popular Resort-30 is the choice of YMCA, hotel, condo, resort, military and water park pool managers nationwide. The Resort-30 can cut your cleaning time by as much as 50%. Also available is the Resort-21 with a smaller vacuum head.
With minimum operating depth of 12 inches, the Resort units can handle almost any situation in your facility from lap pools to lazy rivers. And because they can be easily stored in an equipment room or closet, they're ready to use immediately. Hammer-Head cleaners can be used safely while swimmers are still in the water, and they are easier to operate than the average lawnmower, making training accessible to all your staff. It has all the speed and portability you need to get the job done quickly.
What's included?Standard Resort-30 unit includes: Cart, 30" head, 60' floating power cord, and two debris bags. Unit does not include battery or pole. Due to ongoing improvements, products may be different from those pictured.
PLEASE NOTE: RESORT UNITS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH TRUCK/TRAILER MOUNT SYSTEM.What kind of battery will you need?We suggest the use of a 12 volt deep-cycle marine battery and a 10 amp automatic charger. Marine batteries typically come in series sizes 24, 27, and 30. We suggest a series 27 size battery. The bigger the battery, the longer the run-time. Avoid marine starting batteries. A general purpose trolling motor battery will work fine. Sealed, or maintenance-free batteries are a good idea so you don't have to check liquid levels.
Your charger should be able to handle 10 amps or better. Most automatic chargers have different settings fo 3 amp, 6 amp or 10-15 amps. For full overnight charging, you should use a 10 amp setting.
Note: All Hammerhead cleaners made after July 2015 are equipped
with a Smart Switch, which acts as a circuit breaker to guard against
overheating and failure by shutting the motor down in the event of
excessive amp load.
Did you know this?Did you know that you can replace a motor and cord assembly by yourself with a few hand tools? If you have a motor problem, and you have a spare motor assembly, you can install a new motor assembly by only removing four screws in the vacuum head. You can send your broken motor to us and get back to work in minutes. See MOTOR PARTS AND ASSEMBLIES tab in the parts listing.
