Pool Magic + PhosFree contains all natural enzymes that break down non-living organics to make opening and closing fast and easy. A quick clean up to start off the season and prevents non-living organic staining and phosphate build-up in the off season.

Before adding Pool Magic + PhosFree at the beginning and end of your season make sure you test your phosphate level and remove excess phosphates
Phosphate tests need to be done on a clear algaefree pool
Test your phosphate level, along with your other water chemistry, weekly
Color is milky brown
Use 1 bottle per 20,000 gallons added to the skimmer
Chlorine / sanitizer levels above 6 ppm may deactivate the product
Pool Magic + PhosFree can be used in water temperatures colder than normal (under 70°F), so you don’t have to wait until your pool heater starts up

There are two options for testing phosphates:

Take a water sample into your local pool dealer and have them test your phosphates
