Great Filter
First off, fantastic customer service! I am very happy with this filter as well. My water is clear and I had no problem installing it. I would recommend the filter and Pool Supply Unlimited any day!

Working perfectly
Replaced my 30 year old stainless steel cartridge filter with this new Pentair. It was very easy to install by Orange Pool and Spa. Works very well and it is easy to replace the filter.

great replacement part
Came with everything you needed for install. I would give it a 5-star rating, except with the inlet pipe being on the top right-- no matter how I placed the filter case or my pump, a pipe was running over my pump control panel. If the inlet were on the other side it would still be a little in the way but less so.

With a 12000 gallon pool and a 1.5 HP pump, would the Pentair 200 160353, running 6 hours/day, do the job adequately? The pool

BEST ANSWER: It did when I bought mine about two years ago. I has been working very well. I added a pvc pipe to the water discharge vent to direct the water toward the ground and it works well to keep me dry.

BEST ANSWER: Yes, the Cartridge Filter housing comes with 1 filter. Good for about a year, pull and clean the filter monthly or as needed by pressure guage indicator. Great product

Is this filter good for an above ground pool with 18,000 gallons of water?

BEST ANSWER: Yes. This is an overall good filter. Easy to clean and it'll last you for a while. I'd recommend cleaning it every 6-8 weeks but keep checking the pressure gauge on top of the filter, if dirty the gauge arrow will rise telling you that the filter is getting clogged and water is not passing through so pressure builds up. Keep it clean and your pump will work much smoother. This is an excellent filter.

I'd recommend cleaning it every 6-8 weeks but keep checking the pressure gauge on top of the filter, if dirty the gauge arrow will rise telling you that the filter is getting clogged and water is not passing through so pressure builds up. Keep it clean and your pump will work much smoother. This is an excellent filter.

BEST ANSWER: - Isolate the filter from the pool system with external valves.
- Reduce the pressure first to avoid any danger. Loosen the large black knob on top. Wait for water to stop coming out.
- To turn the black ring 1/3rd of the way down, there are two "levers" or push buttons underneath the bulges on the ring. Compress them and the ring can be turned.

While the majority of Pentair products are covered by a sixty- (60) day warranty, a select number of products qualify for extended warranty coverage.
Select Bundled Products: applies to purchases and qualified installation of a minimum of a pump and filter, and one or more of the following: heaters, heat pumps, control systems, automatic cleaners, lighting, salt chlorine generators or UV sterilizer**
*Note: Qualified Installer - Defined as a licensed professional who charges a fee for his services, and possesses a business license, contractor's license and/or resale permit. Common examples of a "qualified installer" include: Swimming Pool, Home Repair or Landscape Professional; Plumber or Electrician; General Contractor; Heating and Air Conditioning Specialist.
**Note: Bundled products - must be purchased on the same invoice and installed at the same time. If any product within a bundle is ineligible for the bundled warranty coverage then all products within the same bundle will be disqualified from receiving the three (3) year extended warranty coverage for bundled products.
TradeGrade products must be purchased from a retail store (brick & mortar), pool builder or pool service company to receive a one-year, two-year or three-year warranty. If purchased online will only receive a sixty-day limited warranty. View the list of TradeGrade Products.
Ecommerce (EC) products: Products purchased from an Authorized Pentair Online Reseller (products beginning with EC-) receive a one (1) year (parts only) warranty from the date of purchase. The exceptions are: IntelliChlor cells and IntelliFlo SVRS pumps which receive a two (2) year warranty. EC products are not eligible for the bundled three (3) year extended warranty.
