in.touch 2 eliminates all the complexities of connecting your spa to the Internet and transforms your smartphone or tablet into your ultimate Wi-Fi spa remote control. in.touch 2 comes with state-of-the-art apps and 2 prepaired radio frequency transmitters, one being part of your spa system and the second one being connected to your Internet router. Both RF transmitters are prelinked to one another, enabling an immediate and perfect communication between you and your spa.
Through their proprietary RF technology, in.touch 2 transceivers emit a strong, stable and long range signal between your spa and your router (about 3 times longer than regular Wi-Fi signal). No need for repeaters or boosters: your spa will always remain within reach in typical backyard settings.
State-of-the-art app with push notifications
in.touch 2 streamlined application makes it very easy to control and program all the functions and features of your spa from your smartphone or your tablet. Best add on ever. I love being g able to adjust the temperature or check on the spa remotely. Installed myself in minutes.

Very simple setup and very fun app
I have setup a number of smart home products and this was the easiest by far. Transmitter in spa is maybe 50 feet from receiver and they paired as soon as I powered on spa. App is easy and alexa integration is fun. Alexa can be enabled for only one spa at a time but I won't ever have mutiple spas! Plan to use Python on raspberry pi to send soa temp in daily "house status" email I have going. Hey Gecko - publish an api please!

Great device and app. Full spa control. Connections can be delayed at times.
I dont regret this purchase at all. It offers full control Of pumps, blower and lights from your phone with an interface that looks very similar to the control pad on the spa. (It doesnt control music streaming functions) Its extremely convenient to be able to change your water care setting or program your water care setting without going out to the spa. I found it especially helpful in the early weeks after buying my hot tub. As this was my first hot tub, there was a learning curve. From my phone I was able to check to see how much the temperature varied while using the energy saving mode, and watch to see how long it took to heat back to temperature.
It also has an Alexa and Google Home integration. Ive found that starting the spa, stopping the spa, and changing the temperature with Alexa work most of the time, but actions requiring feedback (Like asking the water temperature) from the spa often time out.
The one weakness Ive found is a delayed connection time. Despite a strong signal between the modules, the app can take anywhere from 4 to 45 seconds to connect. (This could be the result of cluttered airwaves in my neighborhood). I Think the problems Ive experienced getting feedback from the spa when using Alexa are due to these delayed connections. Without the delay issue Id definitely give this device 5 stars.

I plugged it in. Now I can push virtual buttons instead of real ones. It works remote. It works close up. It was easy to install. It not bad. It make wife happy. It is. Are you?

Will this work with a 2019 Bullfrog Spa? I was told to get CloudControl2 - is this the same thing?

BEST ANSWER: Yes this is the exact same thing, I just purchased and installed this on my brand new bullfrog r7 two weeks ago. You can even use this directly with the bullfrog app.

Will this work on my 2021 x6L bullfrog?

BEST ANSWER: It should. It’s actually the exact same product bullfrog sells as an upgrade, they just charge more money. I’m using it in my 2021 x7 bullfrog

My spa is mounted below the deck; will this cause a problem for the RF signal since the controller is facing away from my house
and it will be behind lumber?

BEST ANSWER: My WiFi version had poor connectivity through a brick wall and one interior wall. This RF version stays connected much better. The controller should have a cord long enough so you can mount it facing the house. Also, make sure you cycle through all the RF channels to find the one with least interference and best strength. With both the WiFi and RF version I need to power cycle the dongle by my inside router every once in a while to reestablish the link. Much happier with the RF version over the WiFi version. If you are using a phone it requires a different program from the WiFi one and it is a bit different but basic functionality is there.

may be yes mine struggles with clear line of site 13 ft with just a double glazed window inbetween. i get intermittant signal moving the module 25mm left or right restores the signal but i constantly reposition it to get blue led from flashing to solid again never found a cause for this issue.
