Finding The Right Baptismal Products

 

At Pool Supply Unlimited we offer an amazing assortment of pool and spa products. A unique and somewhat niche category we offer is our complete line of baptismal products from Hydro-Quip. There is a large selection of products available in 120/208/240 voltages with 1.5kW, 5.5kW, and 11.0kW heaters and accessories to fill any application. Until recently, I was unaware that we offered products like baptismal heater control packs, so I'm excited to share my newly acquired knowledge of baptismal equipment with you all and hopefully help you choose the right equipment for your needs. 

 

The BES series is a complete system with a pump for circulation, heater, and control system with required connection fittings. The 5.5kw BES6000 and BES6000T (Ts include a seven day timer) offer eight standard models. With an array of optional accessories, the possibility of meeting your requirements is very good. Important options for you can be remote control, which plugs directly into the heater, water level, auto fill and drain kits are also great options. An Interface Module, required for these options, also includes specific indicator lights displaying the current operation of your fill and drain functions. With optional cartridge filters and Ozone or U.V. technology you will have water that is bacteria free, clear and clean.

 

The BES series with timer should not be used with fill and drain baptismal systems as the lack of water will cause heater failure. The integrated “system diagnostics indicators” and “heater on feature” allows you to know that the system is working. These systems come shipped in one box with some assembly required with a sturdy base and pump included. These systems are compact and include everything you need for a successful installation.The installation kit includes: two isolation shut off valves, three suctions, overflow fittings and air button transmitter.

 

The BCS series have four base models available. The range of voltages and kilowatts, raise the potential for these packs. With 1.5kW, 5.5kW and 11.0 kW options, you can achieve the perfect temperature. As with the BES series, the BCS series, come with an optional timer and warnings not to use it with fill and drain baptismals. With many of the same options available as the BES series, these units stand out  because they do not include a pump. This positive feature enables them to be used to replace/retrofit older existing circulation systems in tight areas.The same standard features as the BES series with options to choose from, give you adaptability. The 5.5kW and 11.0 kW utilize flow through heater elements that allow water to flow in either direction.

 

The BES-55 basic circulation baptistry heater is unique in that it can fit in those tight spaces. With a width of only 9”, this base mounted, vertically stacked pump and heater comes with an air switch, heat indicator light, and installation kit. It’s available in multiple kW and voltages.

 

The portable PBES6000 series is a unit you can take to remote settings. The base mounted unit is light as a cloud with a top mounted handle and comes with a submersible pump, garden hose type fittings and two 15’ hoses.

 

Hydro-Quips newest baptistery product is an immersion style element that can be put into any suitable vessel. This U.L. approved heater comes in either 120 or 240 volt and 1.5kW. It has a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) attached to the cord. The top mounted handle is attached to the control box which has a heat indicator light as well as an adjustable thermostat knob with an off setting. There is a manual reset high limit as well as a water level safety switch. This versatile product only weighs 8 lbs.
