Aqua-Flo by Gecko's Circ-Master pump takes 24-hour filtration to a new level, delivering the highest GPM of any recirculation pump on the spa industry. Higher GPM allows the Circ-Master to operate a high-flow heating system resulting in increased heating efficiency and up to four times the filtration.
• Ideal for 24/7 circulation pump applications • Single speed
• Flow rate up to 40 GPM
• 1.5’’ intake and discharge
• Wet end available in center or side discharger configuration
The pump and other supplies I have purchased from you last year are working well. The pump runs 24/7 and has had no problems . My design on using hot water for heating and your pump has allowed me to heat my hot tub year round with 107 being my high temp { actually too hot } and 103 my low temp for less than $10.00 a month. In 10 degree weather or less the heating system will not be able to maintain 103 with top up and in use. However its hot enough for the time needed. Your company did very well in all aspects of business. Thanks
Pump was exactly as specified and chat service with company was good. Easy to install and came with new O-rings. Shipping was a little expensive and slow, but that's to be expected with a heavy item.
This thing not only fit perfectly as a replacement pump, but was easy to install (took less than 30 minutes) and has been running strong for the last 4 years without any maintenance needed.
The pump was as advertised online and I installed it and it is functioning great. I am very pleased with the price, pool supply was the best deal I found for this exact pump and I looked at many websites. I shipped promptly and their follow up has been assuring that they stand by their products. I would recommend this pump.
BEST ANSWER:I have used my circ pump outdoors on my hot tub for months. However what is outdoors? My hot tub is outdoors, the water stays warm, the pump is in an enclosure with a wood insulated door to help keep it warm and dry. My pump runs 20 hrs each day and has done well. No pump can handle exposure to the freezing cold using water that can freeze. Hope this helps.

I use my pump in a hot tub that is outdoors, but the pump is enclosed within the tub's "skirt". Of course you can use the pump outdoors, but it has to be covered where rain/snow/dirt wouldn't enter the pump components or electrical components. That requires a good, water tight enclosure. Make sure everything is properly grounded.
I have this pump and with most pumps they will be moving hot water for a hot tub. If the pump is in an enclosure to protect it, the residual heat should keep all unfrozen and running well. Mine has been running for over a year through all temps 0 degrees to 95 degrees.
If you are replacing a pump in a spa and the spa is outdoors, the answer is yes. However, if the pump will be exposed to the weather, especially rain, then no. The motor is not sealed, and exposure to water would be a bad thing.
BEST ANSWER:I am unsure if this pump can be "oiled", however i do recall there being some factory oil on the shaft when i purchased and installed the unit. I have been running the pump problem free without any necessary maintenance or oiling for at least 4 years now, including multiple tub refills and moves. I would say that you probably could oil it if you felt you needed to (though i dont know if the manufacturer would approve), but i think it will run strong as-is and wont need oiling in the future. As an FYI, I just checked on my pump a couple of days ago and it still looks brand new and is running strong.

I need too replace my Gecko FMCP 120 volt 3/4 HP pump #02507002-5. The connections are located as to not allow modification, so the connections must meet the existing. /will the offered pump connect?
BEST ANSWER:By connection, are you referring to the inlet and outlet tubes? or the electrical connections? From your question, it seems like you may need to go with a different pump as this one is rated for double the voltage and has a fraction of the horsepower. I used this pump as a direct replacement for my spa. I do not believe this pump is sized to be a replacement for pools, if that is your intended purpose.
