The probes are very finicky. Last time I simply conducted the PH calibration process, the probe was apparently damaged by the buffer tablets thus throws a constant error status. Not the first time it has happened. This was the second replacement probe I've purchased. Probably won't buy a third.

BEST ANSWER:Turn off the device. Unscrew and remove the old probe. Rinse the new probe with calibration solution. Insert and twist the new probe into place. Calibrate on the Safedip device following the manufacturer's instructions. Turn on and test for accurate readings.
