All warranty claims must be handled directly through the manufacturer, AquaComfort. The warranty begins on the documented date of installation, or if unavailable, 30 days after the date of manufacture. All service must be approved by AquaComfort in advance and performed by an authorized service technician or service center to remain valid.
The warranty coverage varies by location:
- Florida: 5 years parts, 2 years labor, and a lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger
- Other contiguous U.S. states: 1 year parts and labor, 2 years on the compressor, and a lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger
It is important to note that freeze damage caused by homeowners attempting to winterize their own heat pump is not covered and will void the warranty.
