A Safe Drain Is no Accident!
The FillStar water leveler control system maintains constant and consistent water level in a pool or spa.
Constant changes in water level can cause damage to your pool equipment. The easy to install FillStar reduces the need for continuous water monitoring.
The Fill Star features an ABS body and pre-glued PVC connections, transition glue is not required. It has a overflow port with a 1/2'' cap, and also the top lid matches our standard skimmer lid.

- Can be installed alone or with drain/vacuum pool or spa at all times
- Easy to install
- Overflow protection and adjustable presets
- Uses the same size lid and collar as AquaStar skimmers
- Includes a 2" to 1 1/2" PVC adapter 3/4" PVC plug included if overflow is not needed
- 3/4" PVC water supply inlet
- Valve is made of high-strength engineered resin
- Float is injection-molded; thread is pre-molded
- No transition glue needed
- Float thread is 1/2" MPT
- All fittings are made of PVC

I bought this item and it seems to work pretty well except the water output when the float valve is open seems to be very slow, like a dribble. Is this normal?

BEST ANSWER: No I don’t think that is normal. Maybe you have a blockage. I’d turn it off and take it off to see if you can find anything blocking flow.

BEST ANSWER: No I don’t think that is normal. Maybe you have a blockage. I’d turn it off and take it off to see if you can find anything blocking flow.

I think it is more than just a dribble, mind has a small spray, it's not much. It's not to fill the pool when it's empty, it's to keep your pool at the selected level. So each day it's doing that it does not take much.

where does the overflow water go?does it go to a drain pipe or in the ground?

BEST ANSWER: It should go to a ground discharge that is at a lower elevation. It should not go to a drain pipe that is part of your sanitary system.

I am confused as to how this works to stop my in ground pool from overflowing. Is it easily installed in a 25 year old pool? Does it require electricity and where does the water ultimately go?

BEST ANSWER: This has an overflow port. The overflow port must be at an elevation lower than your pool overflow level and discharge at an even lower elevation. This device has to be installed at the correct elevation so that the auto fill will maintain the desired pool fill level. Sounds like you may want to hire someone to get this installed correctly. This can be installed in any age pool as long as the pool has a overflow pipe that connects into the pool that is not part of your filtration/circulation system.
