exact replacement-easy to install

The old plastic cover became brittle and cracked from sun exposure. This new one fits perfectly and even came with new hardware. Easy to install but I recommend two sets of hands as the cables from the box to the pc board are short and it's a little awkward to connect them to the board once you make the switch.

A little more complicated than you might think, but not bad

You do have to remove two electrical connector clips to a circuit board that is attached to the old cover plus unscrew the board. Then screw and reattach to the new cover. Cover fit perfectly and should extend the life of the controller for another 5 years

i have the DG 220 R. will the unit replace the cover and control panel without modification?

BEST ANSWER: Yes the cover was a perfect fit. Screws are included to fasten the control panel to new cover. Do not overtughten.
