The AutoPilot RC-5 replacement salt cell is for use with the old Pool Pilot Cubby in-deck saltwater chlorination system. It's intended for use in spas and pools up to 20,000 gallons.

 

AutoPilot has discontinued its production of the Cubby salt system in favor of its new Pool Pilot products such as the Soft Touch, the Digital and the Total Control, but still offers two-year warranty protection on the RC-5. The cell has five titanium blades to provide reliable chlorine production for spas and smaller pools.

 

It's easy to remove the old cell and install the new one and the 50-foot power cord into the existing cell canister, which sits flush in the pool deck (see attached Owners Manual for more information). Note that we also offer an RC-5 cell with a 100-foot cord under Other Purchase Options which may better suit your needs.
