Once installed, I don't have to monitor anything?

BEST ANSWER: Advanced Oxidation Systems for pools and spas kill bacteria and oxidize organics and inorganics very well. However, they are not a product that will eliminate water chemistry. You can reduce sanitizer levels to almost nothing but you should use a bit of a sanitizer to assure sanitary and clean water. AOP works exceptionally well in spas with a bit of a Bromine bank. You also must balance your water. Failure to do so may result in irritated eyes and skin and damage to your spa and equipment. At a minimum, calcium hardness, alkalinity and pH must be balanced.
