UV light provides effective inactivation and destruction of microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, molds and pathogens without adding additional chemicals. Installing a UV system reduces chemical usage and breaks down chlorine by-products called chloramines. Chloramine exposure commonly leads to stinging (red) eyes, skin irritations, asthma and allergies.

 

The ELP HO series is designed for flow rates from 79 gpm to 396 gpm and is ideal for aquatic facilities, fountains, splash pads, spas and therapy pools.

 

 

The ELP Series eradicates Cryptosporidium, Giardia and other harmful pool and spa water contaminants and chlorine by-products.

Commercial pools are regulated under strict testing protocols. Local and National news frequently report on pool closures associated with outbreaks of «Crypto» and Giardia contamination. Cleaner Water: Dimensioned according to the pump flow rate which combines exposure time in the UV sanitizer and the power of the lamp(s) to ensure that the necessary dose (expressed in millijoules per square centimeter or mJ/ cm2) is sufficient to kill 99,99% of the micro-organisms (bacteria, viruses, «Crypto», etc.)

 

Cleaner Air: In the particular case of dechloramination, a dose of 60mJ is essential in order to be able to significantly reduce the level of chloramines, which are responsible for respiratory irritation and illness.

 

The UV Concept: UV-C light naturally sanitizes water. Delta UV reproduces this phenomenon in these sanitizers’ powerful UV-C ray lamps which transmit at 254 nanometers, the optimum wavelength for destroying microorganisms (viruses, bacteria, algae, yeast, mold etc). Installed in-line just after the pool’s existing filtration system, the Delta UV-C product rays penetrate and disrupt the micro-organisms’ DNA, permanently deactivating germ cell metabolism so they cannot reproduce.

Delta Ultraviolet Corporation (“Delta UV”) warrants to every original Purchaser of Delta UV’s E/D & EP/EA-Series Ultraviolet Unit, that the product will be free from defects of the type described below under the heading “Covered Items” (“Defect”) for a period of two (2) years following the date of installation. This warranty shall only become effective after the product is registered with Delta UV. If at any time during the Limited Warranty period, any Defect prevents the product from performing correctly in an application for which it was designed, Delta UV will repair or replace the product (at Delta UV’s option) as outlined herein:
