Where do u put this in the water or filter?

BEST ANSWER:You will add it into the skimmer with the pump running. One hand full at a time and swirl it around to mix it up well. Leave the skimmer basket in to avoid any clumps making it through. Bleed the air out of the filter first also. Let the filter run 6 to 8 hours after adding without turning the pump off.
