Reusable cartridge filter elements are made of a superior reinforced polyester material. Elements provide a high degree of water clarity and longer filter cycles.
Features
- Polyester media with no bonding agents to restrict filtration efficiency
- Straight, sharp and evenly spaced pleats for maximum filtration efficiency
- Durable polyurethane end caps which provide strength and assure proper sealing in filter tank
- Re-enforced center cores on all pool cartridges which use a PVC center core for support
- Evenly spaced holes in center core for maximum distribution of flow through cartridge

Who makes this filter cartridge?

BEST ANSWER: I don't know who makes it but I know it works as well as any original for a lot less $

How often do we need to replace the filter cartridge?

BEST ANSWER: Depends on your pool and how much work the filters have to do. You have to clean them once a season at a minimum, more if your situation requires it. Water quality issues, for me it’s iron and high mineral content, meant cleaning mine 2 or 3 times in a season. As far as replacing, I picked up new a new set of filters after 9 years. How you treat them when cleaning will be a determine factor for how long they’ll last. I have read 7-8 years is an average timeline for replacement.
