My Aqua Pod only holds a charge for a few minutes. Is this something I can fix by opening it up and replacing a part (battery?), or do I need a new one?

BEST ANSWER: These remotes suck. I’ve replaced 3 in 5 years and never bring them in the water. Garbage.

The display on the remote control says " the base station is not responding" Is the remote battery dead or is it the base station on the outside panel?

BEST ANSWER: It could be either or, however, if the remote is displaying that message, more than likely it is an issue with the base station.

I have received a message on my Aqua Pod AQL2, "looking for base station" and then "cannot locate base station." Is my Aqua Pod at fault or the Base Station?

BEST ANSWER: It sounds like it could be either one. It is best to contact the manufacturer and have them walk you thru troubleshooting.

I spoke to Goldline twice and they concluded it was the hand held, as did local pool stores. I went home threw (advice from golf buddy) the breaker and the hand held reset. I would have spent 4 to 5 hundred dollars for a new handle when all I needed was a simple fix, funny neither the manufacture nor the retailers mentioned throwing the breaker. Gee, I wonder why. Thanks for your consideration

I spoke to Goldline twice and they concluded it was the hand held, as did local pool stores. I went home threw (advice from golf buddy) the breaker and the hand held reset.
