my remote no longer works . Do I have to replace My receiver also?

BEST ANSWER: Depending on how old the receiver is, you may be able to replace the remote only. Really depends on the age and specific model to make sure your existing base is compatible with the new remote. Might be worth a call to Hayward tech support to confirm for sure.

How do I turn on the heater for hot tub only?

BEST ANSWER: It probably depends on your system...On mine, I would switch the valves to "Spa", and then turn the heater on or of.
