When I first purchased the pool vacuum, I ran it for several hours per day for the first week because of all of the dirt/sand at the bottom. Did a great job cleaning!! However, that caused a great deal of wear on the rings and they wore out quickly. I was happy to find that the rings were available to purchase in a 4 pack, as I needed to replace all four on the vacuum. The price seemed a bit steep (like buying a printer for very little, but then paying a huge amount for ink). But the rings do their job and the vacuum can climb the sides of the pool again. A suggestion would be to be able to enter the brand and model vacuum, and then have the rings and other accessories come up. Search to find the right rings was not easy. And it would be nice if the installation guides were available during the search as well. I finally figured it out, but not without a lot of anxiety about breaking the vacuum. To finish on a good note, the rings were shipped and arrived at my home very quickly.
It was great working with the website to order these climbing rings
delivery was quick and price was excellent (lower than competitors) and it was pleasant to correspond with the company representatives You do a great job Thanks
The rings do wear out and are ohh so needed for the cleaner to work effectively. The installation is not a piece of cake due to the tracks going on so tight but I got the job done. I don't want to do it often however.
I purchased these Maytronics Climbing Rings for a reasonable price...They fit perfectly and am totally satisfied with your service and fast shipping!!! Thank You!!!
A new set of climbing rings for my Maytronics Nautilus CC+ took only 15 minutes to install and my pool sweeper is climbing up to the water line once again.
BEST ANSWER:Yes, better said, quite tricky. The difficulty is with the primary track. It goes on very tight. I would not try to install the climbing rings only. I would do all maintenance at once to avoid the hassle of the track installation until necessary. I performed this task and all is well with the cleaner so the savings were worth it.

You have to take the rollers off, which is the hardest part. Depending on the machine, some of the screws for the housing that holds the rollers are inside so not a lot of room to hold the screwdriver. Putting the rings on the rollers is easy once you get the rollers off.
Not hard exactly but getting the rollers out and back in again dealing with the tracks, plastic covers, and roller bearings can be a little tricky. The climbing rings themselves are pretty soft and flexible.
