This new universal caddy is definitely an upgrade over the previous version, if for nothing else the rubber-coated wheels work much better than the old plastic ones. I also like the metal shaft, as it feels much more sturdy. Not a big fan of the new style of power cord wrap-around (power supply to outlet), but it's a minor annoyance.

I would recommend this product. It wasn’t too hard to assemble and my Dolphin pool vacuum fits well on it. It’s made of plastic, so it needs to be handled appropriately.

This sure beats me from vacuuming the pool wth my bad back. I run it for two (2)hours cycles three days a week, I believe it gets the pool cleaner
