The Poolvergnuegen blue and white four-wheel PoolCleaner model is ideal for light-bottomed pools, and has a number of unique features, including four-wheel drive. Self-adjusting turbine vanes maximized power from the flow of water allowing the suction cleaner to move at low suction and pressure, and the folding vanes allow for clear passage of larger debris through the cleaner.

The PoolCleaner's internal programmed steering system causes the left wheels to switch to reverse periodically, allowing the four-wheel cleaner to move in another direction. Its four-wheel drive Five different programmed turns, ranging from 90 to 450 degrees, allow it to cover both ends of the pool easily, and it won't get stuck in a corner or get hung up by a main drain.

One of the most distinctive features of the PoolCleaner is its tire treads, which give it better climbing ability and obstacle maneuverability, particularly with the four-wheel model. The tires also come with tread wear markers that show you when to replace them. The front tires have raised treads that allow the cleaner to overcome any reasonable obstacles sand uneven surfaces, making it ideal for all pool surfaces and shapes.

The PoolCleaner's patented adjustable skirts allow the cleaner to maintain optimal suction under the machine even when encountering obstacles. One (or more) of the skirts will lift up over the obstacle while maintaining suction under the cleaner.

The blue and white PoolCleaner is also available in a two-wheel model (see Other Purchase Options to the right). The four-wheel PoolCleaner is optimal for longer pools because of the distance to the pool's suction port.

BEST ANSWER: I think you’ll have to depend on the skimmer for surface leaves but it does a pretty thorough job with debris on the bottom and along the sides.
