The Poolvergnuegen Pool Cleaner pressure side cleaner uses a patented 4-wheel drive train to overcome obstacles that normally stop other swimming pool cleaners. It has self-adjusting turbines, which maximize power from the water flow, allowing it to still move at low suction and low pressure, and the folding vanes of the turbine allow for the easy passage of larger debris through the cleaner.
The Pool Cleaner also is the only pressure side cleaner with an internal programmed steering system, which causes the left wheels to periodically turn backwards, allowing it to turn and then move into another direction. There are three different programmed turns ranging from 90 to 540 degrees, allowing the unit to travel 12 to 14 feet before it turning.
One of the most distinctive features of the Pool Cleaner is the patented tire treads that give it better climbing ability and obstacle maneuverability. The tires come with tread wear markers that show you when they need replacing. The front tires have raised treads which allow it to overcome any reasonable obstacles such as the main drain and uneven surfaces. This makes it ideal for all pool surfaces and shapes. The Pool Cleaner also has the largest dirt bag currently on the market, which can be easily removed and cleaned. It uses an internal sock that acts as a trap door by stopping debris from falling back once the cleaner is turned off.
Hose swivels allow for fast and easy assembly and installation of the cleaner, snapping to connect the hose sections. They prevent the hose from coiling and leaking, allowing for the best possible performance. The Pool Cleaner also includes an important pressure relief valve that regulates the pressure flow to the unit. The valve regulates the pressure so as to not exceed the optimal pressure (12-15 PSI or 11-13 RPM). It does so by opening to bypass water when necessary. Not using the pressure relief valve may cause excessive wear and damage and hence will void the warranty.
