The concept is simple. When your water level goes down, the pool gets filled. it's not rocket science, but exactly the same mechanism as toilet bowls use.
Before I had this device, I would have to pull out the hose, try to not forget it, etc. Now, I've hooked this device to a line on my automatic sprinkler system, so I can turn it on or off from my phone. A truly beautiful thing.
What I like about controlling it from my phone is that I can monitor how much water is needed and when. One downside of having this on autofill 24/7, is that if there's a leak, you may not realize it for months.
Not the Pour-A-Lid is also amazing. Instead of having all these white skimmer and other lids around our pool, we have four Pour-A-Lids that blend in with the brickwork so they're hardly visible. And it was easy.
First, we poured concrete into the lids. Then when they were fully cured, we put a carefully chosen concrete stain on top to mimic the brick color. Voila! No more ugly ports.
So between the filler and the lid, I would not hesitate for a moment to purchase this product again.

ABOUT THE STORE Pool Supply Unlimited is an e-commerce company that loves water. We love to pump it, filter it, heat it, chlorinate it, light it up and stare at it while we're barbequing a fat, juicy steak. There are real pool professionals working here. Our guys have seen thousands of pools in their careers, no exaggeration. We are based in San Antonio, TX and can land most products to your door (within the 48 contiguous states) in less than a week.
