Type DS offers advantages over traditional solvent-based paints. DS Acrylic can be applied to damp surfaces and previously painted chlorinated and synthetic rubber surfaces. Use of DS allows the pool to be filled within 3 days after the final application of paint. Acrylic coatings such as DS are used when short down times are critical. Water-based acrylics are extremely color-fast and UV resistant.

This acrylic pool paint is formulated to offer all of the advantages of water-based technology. It can be applied over most previously painted pool surfaces and in damp environments.

Coverage: up to 250 sq ft per gal on first coat; up to 400 sq ft per gal on recoats
Application: roller/brush/spray
Fill time: 5 days outdoors, 10 days indoors
Clean up: soap & water
Two-coat system
Not for use on fiberglass/gel coat pools and spas
Do not store product at temperatures less than 32 degrees F
Accent colors are not recommended for full surface application
