SGS SGS5000 Commercial Chlorine Generator - 220V 100 GPH
Saltwater Chlorine System
The NSF International-certified SG commercial system is specifically designed for commercial bodies of water. The multiple cell manifold design provides significant advantages over comparable single-cell systems.
A clear, visible cell housing and wide blade spacing makes monitoring and maintenance of the SG system a simple task. In addition, the multiple cell manifold design allows each cell to be individually cleaned without shutting down the entire system.
With one of the highest chlorine outputs of any other unit in its class, and its compatibility with almost any control system, the SG Series commercial system is the most dependable and efficient sanitizing system available in the industry today.
General Description
SGS COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS are designed to operate in the extreme conditions of commercial pump rooms, and under the most challenging water conditions. All SGS Systems are NSF and UL Certified.
The SG 5000 is a single cell, stand alone system, designed for use on small bodies of water (with minimal sanitizer demand), as well as spas (with less than a 2,500 gallon capacity). SGS recommends that ORP/pH controllers be used to optimize chlorinator efficiency as well as provide consistent chemical control of the body of water.
SGS Manifold systems are available in two Control Center configurations: the "SGC" Series, with multiple SG 5000 Control Centers, and the "STORM" Series that utilizes a single Control Center (both up to 6 cells). Both systems are shipped complete with the appropriate manifolds (including by-pass valves) and the ORP/pH interface. The manifold systems are available in 2 to 6 cell configurations, with chlorine productions from 4.6lbs to 13.8lbs per 24 hours. For larger projects, multiple manifold systems are available -- space and technology often play the largest role in deciding which system to choose. Proper sizing of a commercial system is paramount to achieve adequate sanitization of each commercial body of water. SGS recommends using the NSF recommended sizing of 3lbs per 10,000 gallons of water as a sanitization base point. As each project is unique, SGS recommends that all commercial projects be evaluated on an individual basis taking into consideration pool specifications, pool environment, engineering and regulatory requirements.
