above ground vacuum works great!!!!!
My husband takes care of the pool and really likes this vacuum. It is easy to use and works alot better than just the hose and a net. I would recommend it and so does my husband. Happy summer!!!

Out of the options I found available this seems to work the best, a bit stranger would be nice but Id still recommend this product.

Too small
Suction is not bad, but not so good for sand or dirt. Bag is too small & suction is not good once a little sand is in the bag. Had to continuously change / empty it after just a little sand was picked up. Good for smaller items, not good for bigger leaves.

Aqua broom the bomb
Excellent buy. Just don't lead the batteries in and rinse the water out, if not it will rust the electric parts.

BEST ANSWER: Yes it has a cloth filter in the white part . I wouldn't use it for a large pool but for the 16' round I have it works fine.

how long is the pole?

BEST ANSWER: The pole is what ever you need. I use a short one for my spa. long one for my pool, good for steps & corners. I love the Broom it works for me.

You need to supply your own pole. This will fit most standard pool poles of any material. I have mine on a fiberglass pole.

there is no added pole. Total length of the full thing is 29 inches. rounded pole section is 7 3/4 inches

Do I need to buy a separate telescoping pole?

BEST ANSWER: I use it primarily for hot tub and haven't had a need for an additional telescoping pole to do an effective job.

is it safe to use while you are actually in the spa?

BEST ANSWER: It runs on "D" batteries, so there is no real concern for electrocution. There are no significant moving parts near the intake that would pose a serious risk to fingers, toes etc. Maybe for very small children, but they wouldn't be in a spa unattended anyway.

BEST ANSWER: Yes it will. That is what we purchased them for, and they do a decent job. Make sure you clean and service the tool regularly, so it doesn't break or get clogged.
