The new Water Tech™ Volt® Leaf Vac is battery powered and hose-less. Without relying on pressure from a garden hose, this allows the unit to operate without altering your water chemistry. Featuring an "on-board" motor, transmission, and safety clutch, in combination lifting leaves, seeds, and twigs right off the pool floor, depositing them into its high capacity debris bag.
The unit comes with a two-year limited warranty, two reusable filter bags, and powered by eight "AA" batteries included. Clean with ease with up to three hours of runtime.

Can you use rechargeable batteries?
BEST ANSWER: I haven't tried them. I used regular batteries but after using it twice had to have it replace.

Is it safe for above ground pools will it tear bottom up?
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it is safe for vinyl liner pools, including above ground pools.

Do you need a pole to attach?
BEST ANSWER: Yes I use an extendable version from Lowes.

Great for quick clean ups
Used reward points to purchase great tool picks up leaves, bugs and debris that end up on the bottom of the inground pool better then hauling out the hose or the dolphin.

A MUST HAVE!
This is the second one I’ve purchased. Absolutely fabulous and a time saver. I haven’t used vacuum with skimmer in years. The pool blaster makes pool maintenance a breeze.

The propeller spins a bit slower than portrayed on the video, but still does the job. Way better than dragging out hoses and vacuums etc.
I'll try some new batteries when the ones provide die.
Might run a little faster ????!!!!!
35,000 gal. pool with deep end, used 5 times and still going. I'm surrounded by shedding oak trees !!!!!

Needed this gizmo 5 years ago.
What a neat set up and hassle free once batteries are installed. Works great in cold weather instead of having to use water hose and waste water not to mention get all wet during the cold months.
