Warranty

CL Industries warrants its preblended pool finishes (such as Hydrazzo, Krystal Krete, SunStone, CrystalStones, SunStone Pearl) against manufacturing defects for 10 years from the date of installation, provided certain conditions are met. A valid warranty requires that the finish be applied by a factory-approved authorized applicator, and registration must be completed within 30 days of installation.

The warranty excludes damage from acts of God (like hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, freezes), improper workmanship, color variation, staining, structural defects, chemical misuse, physical abuse, delamination, cracking due to freezing/thawing, and failure to maintain proper water chemistry. Labor for repairs is not covered; CLI’s obligation is limited to supplying replacement material to correct only the defective area. The warranty is valid only in the continental United States and is nontransferable.

Valid warranty claims require submission of the completed warranty registration (white to CLI, yellow to the applicator, pink to the pool owner), documentation of the finish batch number, proof of proper water chemistry, and, in many cases, monthly water test records.
