Warranty
All warranties for Hill House Products items are provided directly by the manufacturer. Warranty terms and coverage vary by product and application, but most motors and motor controls carry a minimum 12-month warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.
Warranty coverage is based on the manufacturing date code listed on the product label, which must be present for a valid warranty claim. Hill House Products’ obligation under warranty is limited, at their discretion, to repair or replacement of eligible products.
Customers must notify the seller of any defects within seven (7) days of delivery, or within seven (7) days of discovery if the defect was not apparent upon reasonable inspection.
Warranty coverage is void if products have been modified, repaired, disassembled, improperly wired or installed, damaged in transit, improperly stored, repainted, misused, neglected, abused, overheated, subjected to over-voltage, or used outside their intended application.
Certain motors utilize carbon brushes, which are considered normal wear items and are not covered under warranty. Replacement of wear items is the customer’s responsibility.
