Using a proprietary blend of minerals, PoolRx kills algae and bacteria for up to 6 months and significantly reduces the required levels of chlorine or sanitizers. PoolRx minerals allow chlorine or other sanitizers to last longer in the water. This process reduces the amount of chlorine/sanitizer that is needed to eliminate and prevent algae and bacteria. The minerals are packed in a cylinder that is placed in the pump basket or skimmer. They dissolve in water and continuously rejuvenate as they pass over the cylinder during the water’s circulation process.
