The CaliMar® CMARSHA25-3Y is a complete saltwater chlorination system designed for inground pools up to 25,000 gallons in volume. It comes with a power center and the CaliMar® CMARCCF25-3Y salt cell, as well as a 15-foot cord for connecting them.
CaliMar® salt chlorination systems and replacement cells are proven to provide reliable performance after being tested under rigorous
conditions.
The CMARSHA25-3Y system allows you to do with away storing and handling hazardous chemicals, as it produces all the chlorine your pool and/or spa will need. You only need to place ordinary table salt into the pool, and the CaliMar® chlorination system does the rest. The indicators and digital readout on the power center let you monitor the system and alert you when maintenance, such as adding salt, is required.

great CaliMar
The install was very easy. Came with everything needed for the install and just needed to supply my own hot glue. The computer part comes in a well built case. I'm able to run the CaliMar at a very low speed on my variable pump which totally surprised me.

Very nice product, fast shipping, great value!
My system got hit by lightning and I needed a good quick replacement. The CaliMar complete system came across the country quickly and was easy to swap for my 10 yr old Aqurite SwimPure. It only took 15 min because I didn't have to replumb anything. Best part - it's nearly identical for programming at 1/2 the cost. Very happy now - hopefully it will last.

CMARCHA25-3Y - THE BEST!
Got it two months ago and now I can give a review about this product. Very happy. Works perfectly. Very satisfied. Way better than Hayward...half price. Can't beat that! Mild weather here in Central Texas and yes I just swam today (Oct 25, 2021)...water is crystal clear and chlorine reading at 3ppm and salt level at 3200 ppm. What can I say more? Strongly recommend you buy it for your salt water pool. No regret, I promise. 3 years warranty! Yeah.

BEST ANSWER: The exact same amount of the much more expensive Hayward models. We bought our unit three years ago and it has been great. Had one issue with the cell last year and the company overnighted me a new one with no charge. I can not recommend strongly enough!

depends on how you set the dial my pool is around 15000 gal so i have mine set at about half way working fine you have to check it and adust as nessary

Can this be used on an above ground pool?

BEST ANSWER: Its a bit big for an above ground. They make the aquatrol for above grounds. However keep in mind most above grounds a metal pools if you have a leak or splashing salt water is getting on the metal possibly rusting out the wall

My above ground pool is 18,,000 gallons. So why would this not be a good idea?

My generating light stays on when the flow switch light is solid red on showing no flow. Is this normal? It’s a bit confusing as the unit should not be generating if there’s no flow.

I have a Hayward VS 950 pump...it does not run off a timer... can I make the power connections to the CaliMar from the motor?... so it only turns on when the motor is running?

BEST ANSWER: They are not self clean. You will still have to clean them after the hours of use. I myself was going to get the stand as it is easier.

I have a Hayward VS 950 pump...it does not run off a timer... can I make the power connections to the CaliMar from the motor?... so it only turns on when the motor is running?

Does it work with variable speed pumps? Is there a flow switch?

BEST ANSWER: Yes and Yes. It does work with variable speed pumps and there is a flow switch, that can be installed before or after the salt cell.

BEST ANSWER: The salt chlorinator does not restrict the flow. The GPM is whatever your pump puts out.

Are the cells self cleaning, or must they be cleaned weekly with acid?

BEST ANSWER: They are not self clean. You will still have to clean them after the hours of use. I myself was going to get the stand as it is easier.
