CompuPool warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. For any products used in commercial applications or regulated pools, coverage is limited to one year. The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship, but does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, incorrect installation, incorrect water chemistry, connection to an improper power supply, or normal wear and tear.
Warranty service is strictly in-factory repair. If a unit fails, the complete product must be returned to CompuPool or an authorized agent. Compupool will repair or replace defective parts at its discretion, free of charge, provided the defect results solely from poor workmanship or materials. Warranties are valid only in the original country of purchase.
Warranty Periods:
- All warranty periods begin on the date of purchase.
- Products with a 6-year limited warranty are covered for 2 years full and 4 years pro-rata. Pro-rata claims require the purchaser to contribute a percentage of CompuPool’s list price (for example, 50% for salt cells).
Conditions of Warranty:
- Products must be installed by a licensed professional or qualified individual according to CompuPool instructions. Proof of purchase and installation may be required.
- Products must be maintained and serviced regularly by a pool professional.
- Products must be operated according to the instructions provided by CompuPool.
Exclusions:
- Damage beyond CompuPool’s control or caused by natural elements or insects.
- Improper pool chemistry, including incorrect salt levels.
- Improper installation or unauthorized modifications.
- Failure to clean or maintain the electrolytic cell as instructed.
- Water temperature exceeding 45 degrees Celsius.
