Best pool vacum ever
Best pool vacum ever. It keeps my pool clean without running dirt to the filter. Its self contain saves on the filter and filter cleaning. I would buy this product 100 times over. Water tech is a excellent co. Ive purchase other pool vac from them without having any issues. This product is excellent for winter months in Flordia when the water is to cold to get into the pool to clean. I like being in the pool when I vacum the pool and in the winter water to cold yes even in Flordia. You will not get hurt purchasing this product.

GREAT PRODUCT !
ONLY HAD THE UNIT FOR A FEW WEEKS BEFORE THE END OF THE SEASON, BUT i TOO HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT, AS IT DID A FANTASTIC JOB ON MY IN GROUND. (THE ONLY THING IS, MY WIFE WISHES ITS COLOR WAS SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT, "ROBIN'S EGG BLUE OR SHOCKING PINK" !!).

Amazing Technology
I love the cordless robot pool cleaner. Water Tech stands by their products with a great warranty. Our robot had to go back to the factory twice in two years. Battery and control panel issues. Still recommend it, mainly because of ease of use and the technology is incredible. Robot keeps pool very clean. My advice is to be very sure the robot is dry before plugging in the charger. Once the charging posts start to corrode its bad news.

Time saver!
I really love this robot. I have only had it for a month but its doing a great job cleaning the bottom of my pool. It turns itself on everyday and roams around the pool getting the floor, the rounded corners and debris by the walls. I have steps that it tries to clean but it does miss a few items on the steps. I usually take my extension brush out once a week and brush off the steps so that is really no problem. Many of the other robots I researched had power cords or hoses or both which would be a pain to have to manage. I love the simplicity of turning on a weekly routine and not do anything for a week. Its saved me a ton of time.

The good and the bad!
I absolutely love the pool blaster. No cord is the greatest thing!! So easy to turn on and he rolls into the pool.
The bad is that I've had this for two full summers and needed 4 separate repairs. Had to send it to New Jersey (I'm in Michigan) and wait. They always treat me nice, but, I think they should have given me a new one for all the trouble I've had to go through. I had to buy another brand at $1000, plus just so I had something to keep my pool clean.

So Far So Good
We have had this about 3 weeks and it is doing a great job. I do wish there were more time options than either a 1 time clean or 1 week clean as the 1 week cycle does 1 hour the first day and 30 minutes the following 6 days. I feel like the 30 minutes is not always enough.
Other than that, the unit is great and highly recommend it.

BEST ANSWER: The filter is made of a terylene fabric which can filter particles as small as sand and silt. Please note that the bag has small venting holes in the case of clogging. If you notice sand or clouds of silt coming out of the top of your CX-1 it is an indication that you should rinse out the filter bag so that the CX-1 can continue to capture fine debris.

It says charging time is 6-8 hrs but does it harm the battery or unit to leave charging for longer say 24 hrs? Can you leave charging when to in use?

So Far So Good
We have had this about 3 weeks and it is doing a great job. I do wish there were more time options than either a 1 time clean or 1 week clean as the 1 week cycle does 1 hour the first day and 30 minutes the following 6 days. I feel like the 30 minutes is not always enough.
Other than that, the unit is great and highly recommend it.

How do you clean the bag of leaves after it cleans the pool?

BEST ANSWER: The bag can be turned inside out to easily dump out the debris. Any remaining smaller debris can be rinsed off with a hose.

What type of filter is used in this model?

BEST ANSWER: The filter is made of a terylene fabric which can filter particles as small as sand and silt. Please note that the bag has small venting holes in the case of clogging. If you notice sand or clouds of silt coming out of the top of your CX-1 it is an indication that you should rinse out the filter bag so that the CX-1 can continue to capture fine debris.

BEST ANSWER: I would only use pool cleaning robot on hard sided concrete lined or tile surfaces. Robot will climb the walls to clean and requires a hard surface to be on

It says charging time is 6-8 hrs but does it harm the battery or unit to leave charging for longer say 24 hrs? Can you leave charging when to in use?

You should be able to see up to 500 cycles of use with a marginal loss in battery capacity. A “cycle” would be considered a singly weekly clean, or the same time frame divided throughout the week.
