Warranty
All warranty claims must go through the manufacturer. Elm Distribution provides a ten-year limited parts warranty on their unglazed polymer solar collectors installed on swimming pools, spas, or hot tubs in North America. This warranty applies to the original retail purchaser at the installation address.
What the Warranty Covers:
- Solar collectors are guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship
- Designed to withstand freezing temperatures
- Will not fail from corrosion, scaling, or deposits inside water passages
If a defect is found within ten years of installation, Elm Distribution will:
- Provide a repair method, or
- Replace the solar collector at no charge for the part
Note: Labor for removal, repair, or installation is not covered.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover:
- Products not installed or maintained according to Elm Distribution’s manuals or applicable codes
- Damage from misuse, neglect, accidents, abnormal weather, or acts of God
- Internal freezing damage caused by not following installation and maintenance instructions
- Unauthorized repairs or alterations
- Collectors with altered or removed serial or date labels
- Thermal performance or energy savings claims
- Installation hardware, accessories, or any components not part of the solar collector
- Consequential damages (such as damage to property, lost time, or system downtime)
- Costs for inspection, investigation, or repair for claims not covered by the warranty
