I loved the pool salt cell. Easy to install and started working immediately! My family can now enjoy a crystal clear blue pool again! I would definitely recommend it.

I've had a Hayward salt system in my pool from day one. For the past 4 years the Hayward cells were only lasting about 1 year before giving out. The 1st cell would be covered by warranty but a year later I was buying another as the warranty didn't extend to the replacement. The CaliMar has worked fantastic from day 1 and is considerably more cost effective.
Make sure to disconnect the unit when you add salt to the pool to extend it's like. Thought that might have contributed to the first cells failure, but now think Hayward cut corners somewhere.

Had my Hayward system since '09, my pool service guy recommended I looked for a replacement t-cell-15 online. Saved myself $150, cell works perfect on my system, I have no complaints.

This was painless and when they sent me the confirming email they double my purchase which pointed out I had selected the wrong size cell from the options. They processed the credit and got me the right part.
Installed and working great. Also appreciate the 3 year warranty!

I would definitely recommend this product as it does what it's supposed to do. However the socket where the cord enters has deteriorated. I'm anticipating a leak where the cord goes in at any time rendering this thing useless. Other than that it make chlorine everyday. Hope this helps...

Still can’t get it to work correctly with our Hayward pro logic. It’s working but no matter what we do we can’t get an accurate salt reading. Our pool company keeps saying it’s the non- Hayward cell. I just can’t agree with that. Looking for other options.

I have the right control board with proper software version. Works for about an hour, goes into "inspect cell" mode and does not produce chlorine

It has only been installed for one week but so far it is working fine, just as well as the Hayward it replaced. It did take a bit of work to install as it is a tad longer than the original.

So far works great,easy replacement seems to be
as good as the original hayward equipment.

I bought this for a service customer. It has done well. I have purchased this in the past for another customer and has performed well. Will order again if needs arise. Thanks.

I installed the cell 2 weeks ago and so far, so good. I suppose with my old unit, it was failing and I added more chlorine with a salt reading of 1800 ppm. Now, the reading is 5500 ppm, way more than necessary. It it continues, I will need to reduce/add water to cut the salt content. But, the chlorine level is perfect.

The Cali Mar cell is an exact fit wand works just as efficiently as the unit that we replaced with it. The price is considerably lower than comparable units and seems to perform identically.

Works great. Out if the box and on the unit in five minutes.

So far so good, it’s working good. The only problem I had was it was offered with two day shipping but they sent it ground and it took a week to be delivered. I would recommend this to others.

I received the unit right on time as promised, the installation was very easy.
However my pool opening will not take place until 04-30-2920. I will respond to another review in a couple weeks

I was really on the fence about replacing my salt cell. I went on Amazon and ordered the CHARCHA40-3Y and could NOT be more happy that I did. My pool is now sparkling clean and clear.
I would recommend that anyone using having a salt pool to take a serious look at the Calimar to replace the Hayward. The quality is there and the price is SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER!

If my husband can install it, ANYONE can! Seems to be doing the trick. Saved $250-300 too.
