I had nothing but problems before with this replacement but now I see the head has been remanufactured. Are you saying it no longer cracks?

BEST ANSWER: I've had mine for almost 2 years. Dump it in muriatic acid every 6-8 months or so to keep it clean and it still works fine. No cracks with my head so far.
My O ring is worn out. What O ring do I need to purchase with this Ecomatic Replacement Salt Cell for Models ESC24, ESC36, ESC48 M0657USA Manufactured by CompuPool | GRCEM?

Better then the original
I purchased the Eco-Matic salt system system the spring of 2004. I love the ease of operation and service it has given.
I replaced the original Cell with a original factory replacement. When it came to replace again I found it hard to find the factory replacements so ordered from CompPool 2015. The cell has been performing great. I have found that even though they look alike the CompPool cell seems to clean easier and cleaner. I have averaged 5.5 years per cell and think this cell will do even better.

Still leaks
I've had to replace four (4) of these cells over the years. Poor design not structurally sound. Head design flawed as they failed around the screw threads (twice) and around the electrodes. Side tubes not strong enough if debris gets lodged between and housing. Some were warranty replacements and others were not. Alternative was to buy an upgraded and more expensive unit.

Buy the generic cell!
Buying this CompuPool replacement cell for my Ecomatic system was the obvious choice. The price difference of this generic cell compared to the OEM cell was a huge consideration. Plus the fact that CompuPool has a 2 year warranty and Ecomatic�?s warranty is only 1 year. Working great so far!

CjompuPool Replacement Cell
I debated on whether to purchase an Ecomatic, which we were replacing or to buy the CompuPool salt cell. Of course the price difference was an influencing factor but most importantly I wanted it to be easy to install and do its job. I am pleased with on all counts and will purchase another CompuPool salt cell when needed.

Salt Cell review
Works great. Tried similar productS before but always had problems with proper chlorine levels. Price was lower than other sites and shipping was fast which was needed after the previous unit stopped functioning.
