This cleaner is an absolute workhorse. All that I've had to do in 4 years is take it out of the water for an occasional clog(which rarely happens), and I have changed the front tires twice and rear tires once at a cost of about $35 per pair.This thing cleans so much better than the Hayward its not even funny.

This cleaner came recommended to me by a friend and I am glad I listened! Great construction and the set up was pretty easy. I had problems with cleaners just circling the deep end before, but this is the first one that makes it to the shallow end. Great suction!

By far the best pool cleaner I've purchased. It doesn't really climb the walls - but I think that's just a function of my skimmer's poor suction and not the cleaner. We have a rather steep slope from the deep end to the shallow end - my old machine never made it up. This one climbs it no problem! When it appears to get stuck on a step - it eventually finds its way out with a quick pirouette. So far -no issues and the pool bottom looks great!

Does a great job of cleaning my pool. We are very happy we made this decision.

Seems to be doing a good job, replacement for a Polaris that just wasn't getting the job done anymore.

Does not quite go all the way up sides, 80%, but does a great job none the less.

This is a replacement for a unit which finally wore out after 5+ years of good service. If you want your pool clean, then this is the gadget to get.

Works a hell of a lot better than the $1200 Polaris P825 I bought from Leslie's. Lets see if it can last longer. Sometimes keeping it simple is the better option. Only knock is I had to but 2 extra tubes so the cleaner could cover the entire pool.

We built a new pool (our fourth) when we moved and was provided a pool cleaner but it lived in the deep end of the pool and never ventured anywhere else. Now that we have the Poolvergnuegen 4 wheel Pool Cleaner it moves and does a great job cleaning the entire pool.

We have had our pool sweep for over a year now and zero problems. Weather has put lots of seed and leaves in the pool but the sweep does a great job a few times we had to pull leaves and twigs out of the mouth but only because there was so much in a short time

In contrast, “Creepy Crowley” type pool cleaner stays in one location for days on end until you move it around, preventing pool floor area littered with silt and dirt to be clean.

I have a very challenging pool to keep clean of debris. Lots of tree leaves, lots of pine needles, etc. The Pool Cleaner is the fourth cleaner I’ve had over the years. It is the best one, and the last one I will have to buy. Now I don't have to move from this house due to aggravation and frustration. If and when I do move, I won’t have to worry about how to keep the pool clean for prospective buyers. Such a relief. The only con I can think of is that The Pool Cleaner — mine is the 4 wheel model — does not clean the side walls of the pool. However, because the pool debris over the whole floor of the pool is taken care of, it is not a problem for me to brush down the sides of the pool once a week or every two weeks if necessary. I would absolutely buy The Pool Cleaner again.

The Poolvergnuegen PoolCleaner does a great job cleaning my pool. I am having one problem with the cleaner. When the cleaner runs over the drain at the bottom of the pool, it gets stuck. The Poolvergnuegen PoolCleaner will remain stuck until I go down to the pool and manually pull it away from the drain. This has turned in to a big problem since I like to use the Poolvergnuegen PoolCleaner at night when no one is swimming.

Does anyone know of a solution to this problem?

This unit does a good job. I'd buy another one. It is very simple so it rarely clogs. If the suction is too strong, it will climb up the side and make bad noises. Also the treads need replacement every year or so. The key is get a pro to tell you where to keep the suction level. Also have to made sure the hose is securely connected to the suction port.

I've only had it a week. I have a dedicated wall line, set up was easy. I found that I had to use almost all the suction on that line to get the right amount of rotation on the wheels, once that was achieved, the unit worked well, and cleaned the pool floor great, it however does not climb the walls on my pool as advertised. By todays standard I have a large back yard pool 60 feet total in length, 16 feet in the deep end then narrows down to 12 feet after about 28 feet for the water volleyball area. The deep end rises quickly from 8 1/2 to about 3 feet in a short distance, so it has a steep incline. I was worried about the unit making it up and, staying in the shallow end, but it does great. I would recommend to a friend.

This cleaner is easy to hook up and it’s the best one that we have found our issue is they only last about 3 to 4 years and then it Has to be replaced or rebuilt

Easy to use, no filters required, no electric motor. I am a former Robot user -its OK but pricey. Last new Polaris robot I ordered online shipped to me broken so I gave up and googled this item as it was recommended by many YOUTUBE users.

Upfront, Poolvergnuegen Pool Cleaners are the best of everything that claims to be a pool cleaner - at least compared to anything remotely close to its price tag. Pretty much zero maintenance, fantastic reliability, parts accessibility, speed (that shouldn't be a category), and quality of the job it was purchased to perform. Hands down, no contest from where I stand (swim). It's so simple to use and because it's a suction side vacuum, as long as you have good suction (which is pretty much required just as standard pool procedure) you are going to have a clean pool.

That being said, I came from a two-wheeled version of this cleaner (which I used for five years and then sold it to another pool owner for $150) and all I had done was install two sets of tires - the second of which were like new when sold. I was starting to see some "looseness" or shifting in the axle which would periodically stop the forward motion. A replacement axle would fix the problem so I notified potential buyers before selling. It was going to cost roughly $40, if I remember correctly?

I love the four wheel version of this cleaner but if I had it to do over, I probably would buy another two wheeler? It climbed the steep walls of 11' deep end much better and did seem to move around a bit quicker. I'm not seeing any difference in the end result cleanliness as both did a superior job. I think I was swayed to the 4 wheel version expecting it to perform better in larger pools with deep water (diving pool) but that has not been the case. Also, the pool finish is now a smoother quartz finish as opposed to the previous plaster. Now, in fairness, I do not use the regulator to adjust the pressure flow - just stick the hose in the skimmer. Same with the two wheeler - so that might make a noticeable improvement but as I said, it works extremely well as is. Also, I have a Hayward leaf canister connected almost year round due to the nine oak trees that hover above my backyard and pool. Hope this helps. My 4 star rating is by comparison to the 2 wheel version. Against the competition, five giant gold stars. great product that hopefully will remain this way despite having been bought out by the Hayward company. Please just leave this one simple and reasonably priced - with no faults.
