Good purchase

The robot generally does a great job cleaning my pool. However occasionally a small area does not get cleaned during the work cycle. Usually it is a 2 or 3 foot strip on the slope between the shallow end and the deep end of the pool.

I love the fact that I can start the robot and then go cut the grass or work on the "honey do list" while it is cleaning the pool. With the auto start feature you can clean the pool during the night while you are sleeping and wake up to a clear pool.

Leaks Debris

We bought this one to replace a cheaper DX3 & while it has some nice features, it has one fatal flaw. It leaks excessive amounts of collected debris out in the pool when it's draining, which defeats the whole purpose of having a cleaner. I assume it's because of the filter basket design, and have been trying various ways to drain it to avoid the leakage. The double filters are also a major hassle to clean. I wish I'd bought a different style & don't recommend this one.
