National Pool Tile Discovery Field 3x3 Series | Marine Green | DSF90N

The versatile Discovery Field is available in four types of trim to give you a rounded, finished appearance.

This is a porcelain tile which is the only type that is recommended for pools, spas or water features. The difference between porcelain pool tiles and other tiles is really one of quality rather than type. The clay used for porcelain tiles is simply purer and more refined, making them tougher, denser and more impervious to water. With a water absorption rate of less than 0.5%, porcelain tiles are less liable to stain and are usually more frost-resistant.

Packaging Information - Case quantity for this tile is 20.6 Sq Ft per Case. Each case contains 20 sheets of tile.

Is this tile safe for use in an outdoor pool in Massachusetts, which is subject to freezing in winter?

BEST ANSWER: Yes it is OK to use but make sure the water in the pool is below the tile before IT freezes. The freezing water is what damages the tile!

How many tiles do you get in a sheet? I am guessing 16?

BEST ANSWER: That's correct. These are 3 x 3 and a sheet is going to be roughly one square foot, so 12 x 12. The picture shows a quarter of the sheet. With that said, you will get 16 pieces of tile for a quantity of 1.
