Aqua Ultraviolet began with a vision to harness UV light for improving water clarity and quality. Founded by Ron James in his garage, the company pioneered the first EPA‑approved UV sterilizer, quickly establishing itself as a leader in UV sterilization technology. Today, with over four decades of experience, Aqua Ultraviolet designs, tests, and manufactures UV sterilizers, filters, air sterilizers, and UV‑ozone combo units at its facility in Southern California, delivering high‑quality, environmentally friendly solutions for applications such as aquaculture, drinking water, aquariums, greenhouses, and recreational waters.

Warranty

All warranty claims must be handled directly through the manufacturer.

General Warranty Coverage:

Aqua Ultraviolet products are warranted against defects in materials and/or workmanship under normal use.
Warranty is valid only for the original retail purchaser and is non-transferable.
Warranty is subject to proper installation, storage, use, and maintenance, and only applies when genuine Aqua Ultraviolet parts are used.

Warranty Periods:

Housing: Limited lifetime warranty against ultraviolet degradation.
Complete Unit: 1 year from date of purchase or 18 months from date of manufacture (whichever comes first).
Quartz Sleeves: No warranty.
UV Lamps: Not covered under standard warranty. Lamps are prorated based on usage.

Warranty Limitations & Exclusions:

Warranty does not cover damages from:

Improper installation or maintenance
Use of non-genuine parts
Electrical surges or incorrect voltage
Misuse, abuse, neglect, or accident
Modifications or repairs not performed by Aqua Ultraviolet
Product labels defaced or removed
Units not plugged into a GFCI outlet

No liability is assumed for incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of livestock
Loss of equipment
Personal injury Loss of income or profits

Warranty card and proof of purchase must be submitted within 10 days of purchase.
