Hayward produces the most popular replacement salt cells in the world: the T-CELL-3, T-CELL-5 (now the GLX-CELL-5), the T-CELL-9 and the T-CELL 15. These models are all compatible with Hayward’s current

Important Notes about Hayward T-CELLsDue to software updates Hayward performed in 2009 the T-CELL-3 (for pools up to 15,000 gallons) and T-CELL-9 (25,000 gallons) require revision 1.5 or newer for AquaRite systems, or revision 4.2 or newer for the older AquaLogic systems in order to function properly. To ensure our customers are ordering the correct replacement cell, we require them to make sure they’re using up-to-date software before we ship them these cells.
If you are using a Hayward system made before 2009, you have a few options when it comes time to replace your salt cell:
- Order a new circuit board for your power center (we carry boards for both the
AquaRite and the
AquaLogic salt systems).
- Purchase a
new AquaRite system.
- Order the T-CELL-15, which works with the older software.
