CleverClean™ – The latest & most precise navigation system for complete pool coverage.
No More Tangling! Tired of lots of hoses and cables? Dolphins are "plug and play" and includes the patented Dolphin Swivel technology that gets rid of tangling and ensures complete pool coverage.
Large Cartridge Filter! The Nautilus CC Plus includes a top loading filter that is and easy-to-reach and rinse clean after collecting leaves, dirt and debris.
Dual scrubbing brushes attack tough dirt, debris and particulates - providing more friction and better cleaning performance compared to competitors that skim the pool floor.
The Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus consumes an average of 5 cents of energy per hour and is 8 times more energy efficient than suction and pressure cleaners.
We have a 30000 gallon in ground pool with molded steps and seats. This dolphin cleaner gets stuck every day on either the steps or the seat and shuts off. I called Maytronics technical support and they said there is nothing they good do that is the way it works.Worthless if it shuts off after 10-20 minutes.
So far so good. Cleans well and quickly. Top loading filters easy to get too and clean easily. Does not seem to get hung anywhere including bottom drain. Capacity especially for heavier debris somewhat less than the old bottom loading diaper type. Unit seems to be some what heavier or maybe the off set handle makes it seem so. Pool caddy is very good and easy to assemble. NO instructional pamphlet. Must go on line. Something basic would be better written down so you could stand over power unit with instruction in hand.
The cc plus is a solid cleaner that is push the button and go. It is very good at cleaning the pool bottom and walls. Many on line reviews view this as the best for your money...confirmed
I am 3000 miles from California but i was impressed with the sales staff so I bought from pool supply. it went on sale right after i bought but that's life
Was a bit nervous to see how it performed due to the cost but it exceeded my expectations. Picked up the palm fronds that would jam my suction side robot. Also picked up grit and small rocks that my suction side robot never had the power to do. Has navigated my stairs and Baja landing find and has cleaned the waterline actually fairly decent, even though it is not rated to do so. Cleaning the filters is easy to me and glad it saves my DE filter, which is way harder to clean.
We are so impressed with our new Dolphin Robotic Pool Cleaner. It saves us so much time not having to manually sweep our pool and it cleans the pool really good. Our pool has curves and seats and it goes up the walls and cleans everything with no problems. We are so happy with our purchase.
This was recommended to us by a good friend. We have used it several times now. I was very impressed with it. It cleans the entire area of our pool. The caddy, I would recommend having. But have someone more qualified than than my husband and me to assemble. The directions were not very clear.
Work Horse of a Pool Cleaner! I am so glad I ordered this, best price around, plus I got the cart free! Everyone else that sells this unit want to charge extra for the cart! Cleaned the pool in no time, so worth the money! Can't believe i spent a summer without this Dolphin Pool Cleaner!
My husband took it out of the box, read the instructions and had it in the water and working in twenty minutes! Depending on the amount of pool use, we operate the robot 1-2 times a week! It is soooo easy! And the pool is sparkling clean
It took months for me to decide on the Nautilus CC Plus and I definitely made the right choice. All I can say is "WOW" ... fantastic unit. It had no problems with steps or the built-in seat. Entire pool was spotless in 2 hours. Definitely buy the combo unit with the Caddy. Also get a good cover. From online purchase to delivery, 6 days (including the weekend) from Pool Supply Unlimited. You guys rock!
Works very well happy with it so far. It gets my pool clean and does not get hung up. Only have to run it like twice a week to keep it in tip top shape. I really like the cart too. It really is a must.
this by far cleans a pool with little to no effort cleaner then any water driven machine we have tried it picks up leaves, sand, anything in its way easy to clean filters and ready to go back to work if it ever was to fail we would buy another just like it
Very pleased with my purchase so far. Even though it doesn't map the pool it cleans the entire pool quite well. I have not had any of the problems others have had with the unit getting stuck on steps or flipping over. Actually it climbs the steps just fine and cleans the Cabo deck without problems. It says it doesn't clean the tile line but mine climbs up and turns horizontal and runs along the tile line quite well. It does not have a time of day timer so you have to turn it on when you want it to run, if that is something you need, this is not the unit for you. For the money this is a very nice little unit. I highly recommend buying the caddy and cover. Haven't had it long enough to comment on the durability of the unit.
So far an excellent product. Does the job it needs to do. Easy to clean the filters. My only problem is that I have some areas in my pool that are only a few inches deep, ledges and stairs and unless the robot is submerged deeply enough it doesn't work apparently. Overall very happy with the product so far
I love this thing. It replaced an ancient Aquabot that finally croaked. In two hours time my 16' X 38' in-ground lazy L is sparkling clean. If you're considering a purchase, don't forget the caddy too. The plastic could be a little more substantial but it makes the whole job easier. The fixed handle makes it difficult to remove the robot from the water. To avoid pulling it out by the cord, I fish an old, wooden walking cane around it and pull it up. Whatever works.
Great pool cleaner. I love that it runs independently and not from our pool filtration system. It’s worth the higher price that you pay for this product. My pool has never been so clean!
We bought our first robot cleaner for the pool as we have been fighting the Saharan Dust that seems to all settle at the bottom of my pool. With just the original filters it is picking up the dust leaves and palm leaves. It is very simple to maintain. If you have a pool you need one of these.
This unit is more than I expected ! It does does and wall with no problem. I wasn't sure how it would do in a fiberglass pool put seems to have no problem with it. We also just had a huge wildfire very close to us and incredible amount of ash was dropped in the pool . With this unit coming with 2 different mesh filters it was no problem getting pool back to normal. Fine mesh filter worked great getting the fines out of the water.
The Nautilus CCPlus is easy to use and does the job. The pool has never looked so clean! Cottonwood fluff and small sand bits are no problem for this robot. Easy to clean filters. The caddy was a good choice and makes storage easy.
The setup is easy and the cleaner picks up everything including sand and the finest debris. The filter panels are excellent quality, and the fine grain filter is great for everyday use. It is similar material to an accordion style cartridge filter in the main pool filter, and I expect them to last many seasons. I love how quiet the cleaner is in contrast to the Polaris 360 pressure-side pool cleaner that it replaced. Although I can leave the new cleaner in the pool, I like being able to run it once or twice a week and keep it out of the pool on the caddy under a protective cover so that the pool is clutter free for swimming. The cord never gets tangled, and the cleaner will even climb above the water line to randomly clean the tiles (although it's not an advertised feature). The cleaner is a little heavy to pull out of the water until the water drains out, but it doesn't bother me even though I have a bad back. I sincerely wished that I had switched to a robotic cleaner 10 years earlier rather than repair and replace parts on my old cleaner. I highly recommend the caddy and cover for storage and protection from the sun and rain. The caddy arrived disassembled, but the assembly instructions were very clear and the number of parts is small, and so assembly was quick with a Phillips-head screwdriver.
Great product. This is my second Dolphin. First one lasted 8 years. Picks up the finest sand particles to large pieces of debris with different screens.
Excellent cleaner and easy to use. I have a vinyl pool 20’ x 40’ and it climbs the walls with no trouble. Love the settings for cleaning cycles. Well with the money. The caddy that came with it is very convenient for wheeling it around our large pool deck.
I purchased a Dolphin robot in ground cleaner, because they did not have an Aquabot, and guess what? This is the best product ever, I have been using an Aquabot for over 14 years and this Dolphin is a million times better with it's 2 hour cycle and easy to clean filters. It does an amazing job. I am thrilled with it.
I preface this review by saying I’ve only been using the Nat CC for a couple of weeks but it has worked better than my expectations. Having owned two Hayward robots previously (both quit working within three years) I can say the Nat CC cleans as well or better, doesn’t get hung up on the bottom drains and is easier to clean. If it lasts longer than the Hayward’s then it’s superiority will be complete!
My pool was absolutely the most dirtiest pool you could imagine I had lots of problems last year and Polaris my didn’t work all season so I had dirt from not being cleaned Then algae dust and I closed the pool like that. What a mess I had this season when I opened I ran the vacuum 3 times a day for 3 day and it did the good my pool is beautiful and didn’t to manually vacuum all the shit through my filter This thing works!!!
I did a lot of research on robotic pool cleaners prior to making the purchase. This Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus model was highly and consistently recommended across several review and consumer sites. We made the purchase... and so far so good. The cart was a breeze to assemble. The cleaner did an awesome job on the initial trial with no problems encountered. Now I’ll see how it holds up with future uses. This was the best price available both locally and via the internet. Plus they offered a military discount... so a win win
Very happy with the cleaner. Up until now, I had to brush the bottom so the fine sand and debris would get sucked up thru the pool main drain. Not very efficient on all fronts. I knew I was getting this cleaner so I neglected the pool for about a week, within 3 days, the pool was spotless. It took this long because there really was alot of dirt. Now I run it daily due to the winds we have this season, and it does an amazing job at keeping the pool clean. I regularly see it on the walls and waterline. No issues tangling the cord.
Our suction cleaner just wasn't doing the job and our pool was constantly dirty. We researched alternative pool cleaners and it looked like Dolphin was the top choice in robotic cleaners. After years struggling to maintain a clean pool, we took the plunge and bought the Dolphin Nautilus Cc and our only regret is that we didn't buy sooner. It does a great job picking up small and large debris. It was easy to use from the first time we put it in the pool. In case you're wondering if you should get the caddy - yes! You spent this much on the cleaner, spring for the caddy to keep it safe, organized and easy to move in and out of the pool. We've only had about a month so can't speak to how well it holds up but hope that we have the same positive long term experience as many others have reported.
Shipped within 1 biz day, and arrived on the 3rd. The caddy was easy to assemble. Operation is even easier...drop it in the pool and hit the On button. Pleased with the methodical, thorough cleaning program. Easy to remove and empty the filter. I've used it in 2 pools now (small cocktail pool and large, oddly-shaped monster). It handled both well. The large pool has a Polaris, but this puppy does a better job (particularly when it comes to scrubbing).
The products were every bit they were advertised to be. The picture of the power box and instructions are incorrect. If you switch positions of power boxes for your product it all works.
This is a great cleaner. Easy to use. Not too heavy. Climbs up the walls and does the stairs. I did a lot of research before purchasing this and I am very happy with it. I do suggest purchasing the caddy, it keeps the brushes off the ground and in the right shape.
It does clean the waterline. It will climb the wall, travel about two feet, submerge and then return to the waterline again. It is a very random pattern but I do find that most of the waterline is cleaned in about two hours depending on the dimensions of your pool. Hope this answers your questions.....
BEST ANSWER:You can leave it in the pool. But the baskets get full of debris (which means it’s working), so you need to take it out to empty the baskets. You could just drop it right back into the pool after that, but you might leave it out to have it out of the way for swimming. If so, you should buy the stand for it, as prolonged storage on the ground would probably not be good for the rollers/brushes. BTW, no regrets on this purchase - it’s so much easier to keep the pool clean using this machine! I’m two years in with zero issues.

You can leave it in the pool and run weekly cycles. However the power supply unit/controller is not fully waterproof etc. It can handle splashes, etc. but not rated for being out in a downpour, under a sprinkler, etc. I find it too expensive to leave in the elements (sun destroys everything not metal IMO) so I remove after each use myself. I will say it is worth the $, and mine does scrub the top around the pool above the waterline about 4 inches.
We have left it in overnight but usually pull it out after each use. We have found using it weekly is usually enough for us in Florida. But you’ll know when to clean it.
BEST ANSWER:Nope. I unplug chord from power supply when putting unit away. This ensures that chord does not have any twists built up and therefore when putting robot back in pool no issues with tangling. Pretty amazing considering the random journey this robot takes during cleaning cycles.

No; it’s rather amazing that it does not. It’s got a rubbery coating that seems to keep it from kinking or tangling. We have had ours for several years and no issues at all. We love the little sweep!
BEST ANSWER:Yes this will climb walls and follow horizontally along the water line. My pool has many curves so the straighter you’re walls the more efficiently it will clean at the water line and the walls. It also has no problem climbing stairs and a seat that I have at one end of my pool. I find that it helps to brush down the walls prior to start of the cleaning cycle.

Absolutely! It even climbs stairs, brushes the waterline tiles completely around the pool, scrubs around pipes and lights, etc. The cartridge filters are extremely easy to remove, clean, and reinsert, as well. Definitely two thumbs up!
I bought this robot last month and it is simply amazing...I use it once a week to clean our pool...28,000 gallon above ground, free form....It cleans the walls above the water line and the steps...I’m very happy with my purchase...
I was a little worried about this myself, but have been very happy with the results. The cleaner climbs the walls, up to the water line very well. I have a rock weeping wall and it climbs up to this saw well. Very happy so far.
BEST ANSWER:Hi Susan, This pool robot has two filters, front and back, and the slots that lead to each of these filters that the debris is pulled through is about 2” x 5”. I’m sure it would pick up leaves fine and even acorns too depending on the size, as I get pinecones that fall in my pool from time to time. I would definitely make sure you check the filters after each 90 minute cleaning cycle. I get a lot of debris from fir trees and I mean a lot and this unit vacuums up more than the debris you see but stuff you never would like hair from animals, dirt, and silt. I’ve owned my home with this pool since 1995 and have bee kicking myself for not investing in a robot like this 23 years ago. I love this particular unit and would buy it again and again.

Leaves yes! From small to large. Small twigs, pebbles and dead bugs as well. I have no answer for acorns however the small pebbles (approximately 3/8”) are likely comparable weight. This cleaner works very well; had Polaris 280 before, much happier with this robot. Caddy makes it easier to use by keeping everything together.
Leaves - yes, but it would fill up very quickly. Our pool has never looked so good. It’s is 10x better than the booster pump models but leaves are very bulky. Best to keep the leaves out or just use a leaf bag on your pole. I would say it would pick up enough leaves to fill up a 1 gallon bucket before getting too full
I have a free-form vinyl in-ground pool with a seat will the Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus be able to climb vinyl wall and stairs ? Will it be able to clean curved walls ? We had a Polaris - 9450 Sport Robotic Pool Cleaner, it was great but only lasted 3 years hopefully this one lasts longer?
BEST ANSWER:I have a vinyl liner also. I've gone through a lot of vacuums and I do like this one it does go on the stairs great end it climbs up the walls, the only thing it doesn't do is get two corners in the deep end so just to warn you just loosen that with something so it goes in the middle of the pool. I would say absolutely get this I hope that helps. I also realized I have a 9 ft pool because I have a diving board which I hate but so it could also be the death so it might work for you if you have of lesser feet pool

I bought last year and i am satistified with the product. It climbs wall ok not sure about seats and stairs since i have a rectangular without seats and stairs.
BEST ANSWER:Although I don't have both versions, my understanding is that the CC Plus has bigger filters and covers larger pool size as opposed to the CC.

Does this robot work well in fiberglass inground pools? Our previous robot could not climb fiberglass walls.
