When I installed the new cell, my salt level read 4200 even though it was actually only 2600. Pool Supply Unlmited told me to contact Calimar, which I did. Calimar told me that I had to replace the board on my AquaRite system. I called Hayward and they told me it was the cell not the board. The three year warranty doesn't mean anything if Calimar doesn't take responsibility. The cell is sending the wrong salt level Calimar won't do anything about it.

Price was very reasonable compared to major manufacturers and local pool supply companies. Delivery was prompt. Installation was easy (and I am legally blind). I have had no problems in almost one year since start-up. Would recommend to anyone.

I'm on my second Compupool generic replacement cell now. The first one lasted longer than the OEM did. I like that I can see it generating through the opaque plastic.
My salt reading is wrong with this cell, but I don't know if it is the cell or my board. It doesn't matter though, because you should (and I do) use a salt test strip for accuracy anyway.

The cell works fairly well, but is too sensitive to higher water temperatures here in AZ (affects salinity readings). Our water also is naturally a little alkaline, so it also takes more pool chemistry maintenance than advertising implies to stay within operable ranges. Lastly, it requires cleaning every few weeks to remove scale - it is extremely difficult to access fins that are "around the corners" inside the cell.

I like the cell and like Pool Supply Unlimited even better.

Great price and the product was a great replacement for my Hayward T-15 cell. So far have not had any issues.

It's working. So far so good. I hope it lasts 3 years!

I tried the Cali Mar salt cell replacement for my Hayward system. Within 24 hours of installation, the water looked clear and beautiful. Since it is new, I will have to review later to see how long it lasts. So far, so good!

Works great. Salt level reads about 500ppm higher than actual manual test but otherwise works as it should.

I replaced the same cell after 3.5 years. The replacement didn't sync with my box. Salt readings were way off. Fought the system to get another one. Pool Supply Unlimited had to wait for CompuPool to accept a merchandise replacement. I did get one. Ht even this new one doesn't sync. It is making chlorine so I will cut my losses and take water to be tested for salt at pool store locally each week. Spend the extra money and get the real Hayward.

I was apprehensive to stray away from the Hayward OEM T-15 replacement but they are so expensive I thought I'd give the CaliMar T-15 replacement a shot. Am I glad I did. Upon receiving it, I unplugged my old OEM generator and plugged this one in. It began working right away and within a day, our pool was clear. My PPM reading appears to read high as I took a sample to my pool store and they confirmed the reading was higher than the actual test sample. I was aware from other reviews that if your system was older it may produce incorrect results. Again, not a big deal because I know it is producing chlorine. Oh yes, did I mention it is about 1/3 or the cost of the OME replacement? So far, my CaliMar was well worth the risk and I'm putting a check mark in the cost column.

We've only had it installed for a short time but so far it works great.

Took about five minutes to install and solved my chlorine generating issues.

Easy install...fit perfectly...and really "cranking out" the chlorine gas...turned down the panel to a 25% operating level cause this cell really is powerful.

Bought to replace a Hayward TCELL940 (ext life T-15). So far (1 week) it has been terrific, and all the readings from my AquaRite900 have been just as accurate as with the old cell (including salt readings). The new cell threaded onto the old couplings just fine, no leaks etc. Being able to see inside is great, you can see when it is generating and when it is not (cloudy bubble-like action when generating...I have it set to 52% for now). With the full 3yr warranty (no pro-rating, per Manuel G at Calimar) and a price less than half what Hayward charges, I'm very happy I made this purchase. This new CompuPool cell has been running perfectly for about a month now, and so far, so good. The readings on my chlorinator panel are spot on, and the cell is capable of generating mad chlorine if I want it.

This product's materials and construction are top shelf, it's priced lower than its competition. It works great and is priced lower than its competition. The translucent window is nice too. What's not to love? This will be my go-to salt cell from now on.

I bought this cell a couple of seasons ago, and I was worried that it would not be as good or last as long as the OEM Hayward T-15. It has lasted longer and seems to actually work better than the Hayward. I have been able to set the percentage down to 60 with this cell, I could never do that with any of the many OEM Hayward cells I have purchased for more money over the past 13 years since having my salt system pool installed. Plus you can see if debris are lodged inside!

Same as the Goldline t-cell turbo cell 15 except $100 less!! Easy choice and I can see when this one needs to be cleaned.

Ordered this to replace worn out Hayward T-cell 15. I have an older version of controller, Aquarite with 1.09 firmware. The new cell arrived promptly and is reasonably priced. Size-wise it seemed a couple mm taller than my original cell and had to squeeze the pipes hard to fit in the new cell, but once in, it is holding well without any leakage at the coupling.

The cell voltage and current are in normal range but it shows very low salt level (2100 ppm) although independent measurements indicate it to be 3500 ppm. Low salt light keeps blinking all the time. However the chlorine output seems ok. For example running about 8 hours puts my pool from zero to 2-3 ppm chlorine range, which is what I expected. While going through Hayward troubleshooting guide, I learned that low salt indication can be acceptable if actual salt level is ok and chlorine output is adequate. So for now I am not worried about it. It's been a few weeks since installation and so far so good except for this low salt warning.
Overall it is a solid alternative to Hayward brand cells and will be happy if it lasts 2-3 years, but time will tell.
